Queerness can come with feelings of being different, and for some that crosses into feeling nonhuman. Queers can feel kinship with animals, creatures, mythology, and aliens. Some even identify with objects, colors, elements, or the celestial planets and stars in space. Understanding your queerness through the lens of nonhumanity can bring clarity to parts of ourselves that we have been told aren't natural or human.
What is a creature that represents your queerness? What nonhuman creation, living or inanimate, resonates with you?
Submit your work! Writing, art, images, sculptures, photography, essays, anything you create is eligible!

Creators retain ownership of the work they submit to the zine. By submitting the the zine, creators give the zine permission to print their work in the zine, use their work in social media posts, and email creators about zine publication. Zines are published and sold on Amazon and Etsy in both hard copy and electronic ezine format.
